About

I'm Dave Kim. I plan, build and run websites and business systems. These days I work freelance, and I usually take a project all the way from requirements and screen design through development, deployment and maintenance.

I started out as a web designer, then built services with Java Spring and React. For about a year and a half I was a network engineer, designing and building secure networks for companies and public-sector clients. After that I managed service operations for an online platform, ran digital marketing and IT operations at a medical clinic, and wrote and fact-checked technical content on Microsoft 365, Copilot and Azure for Microsoft Korea's official channels.

Articles on ITDeok are researched from official announcements, documentation and reliable reporting. The "From the author's desk" section at the end of each post is where I add what my own work in web development, IT infrastructure and Microsoft technical content has taught me: what to check before you adopt something, and where the time and money tend to go once it's running.

    Designed, built and runs his own AI-assisted development setup with Figma and Claude Code.
